Health Care Connect is a provincial service that helps people without a primary care provider find health care in their community.
You can register with Health Care Connect without leaving your current doctor or nurse practitioner, if you have one. This recent change allows more people to receive support while continuing any care they already have.
The provincial government is now using Health Care Connect as the main wait list for people looking for primary care across Ontario. Because of this, everyone seeking a doctor or nurse practitioner needs to be registered with Health Care Connect.
